摘要：Climate change represents a real threa t for the mountain ski resorts, especially for those situated at low altitudes (below 1500 m). Various studies carried out by the researchers indicated that there are a significant number of ski resorts vulnerable to climate change. In the present paper, the authors use the regressions to analyse the relation between climate variability and tourism activity in Predeal resort, one of the most representative ski destination in Romania. The regressions indicated that tourism activity expressed through occupancy rate or tourist arrivals became vulnerable to meteorological pa rameters (temperature and thickness of snow cover).
