摘要：The autho rs report an u nusual case of a 15 -year-old boy who dove into a shallow lake and suffered a cervical fracture of C5 affect ing t he spinal cord. This resulted in t etraplegia. Vitamin D3 deficiency and a history o f several bone fractures suppo rted an idea t hat the patient's bone st ructure had been weakened. The deep vein thrombosis o f lower limb and neurogenic heterotopic ossificat ion of a hip limited the effect iveness of physical therapy
