摘要:Unique integrative learning approaches represent a fundamental opportunity for undergraduate studentsand faculty alike to co mbine interdisciplinary methods with applied spatial research. Geography andgeoscience-related disciplines are particularly well-suited to adapt multiple methods within a holisticand reflective mentored research paradigm. The case study presented is successful geography-geologycollaboration at a regional comprehensive university. Faculty participation allowed them to broaden thescope of their research and expand cooperative relationships within the academy, while studentsbenefited from a wider context for disciplinary training, improved community engagement, andprofessional develop ment opportunities.
