摘要:The aim of the study was to collect students' opinions on their education process It covered 65 1st- and 2nd-year students of the Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences, Medical University, Bydgoszcz (specialty: nursing, 5-year licentiate and Master’s studies). They responded to a diagnostic survey concerning educational methods desired by students, sources of knowledge, expected forms of control and evaluation. Analysis of the material showed that students wished to learn through activating methods and declared active participation in discussions and practical classes. They expect from the university authorities to increase funds for supplementing the collection of books in the library and reading room, to publish course materials, to provide a computer room with more equipment with access to the Internet, to plan class schedule in a rational way, to establish research clubs, to organize scientific camps and conferences. From their educators, students expect communication skills and information about evaluation criteria. According to the students, evaluation should stimulate to learning and be a measure of their knowledge
