摘要：O presente trabalho apresenta os principais resultados de uma pesquisa feita no PETAR, no núcleo Santana de visita..o, e no Bairro da Serra, comunidade referência para o Parque localizada em Iporanga, SP. O objetivo do estudo foi detectar as percep..es dos turistas quanto aos impactos socioambientais gerados pelo turismo nos atrativos do Parque e na comunidade receptora. Para tanto, foram feitas pesquisas bibliográficas e entrevistas em campo com 63 turistas, tendo por base um formulário com cinco quest.es abertas. Os resultados foram agrupados e analisados em fun..o de duas variáveis selecionadas: idade e grau de escolaridade. A maioria dos entrevistados possui nível superior completo, em uma faixa etária entre 15 e 34 anos. Na vis.o dos turistas, os impactos gerados nos atrativos do parque é predominantemente negativo, e na comunidade, positivo. Das conclus.es obtidas, ressalta-se a hipótese de que a capacidade de carga física e psicológica, aliada ao respeito à comunidade local e à compreens.o das necessidades dos visitantes e visitados s.o fatores fundamentais para a sustentabilidade do ecoturismo no PETAR e para a amplia..o dos benefícios diretos para a comunidade do Bairro da Serra
其他摘要：This paper presents the main results of a research project conducted in the Santana Nucleus of State Touristic Park of the Upper Ribeira River, in the community of the Bairro da Serra, located in Iporanga, SP. The objective was the detection of the beliefs of tourists about the socio-environmental impacts on the sites in the park and the receiving community generated by tourism. Bibliographical studies and field interviews with 63 tourists based on a form with five open questions were used. The results and final analysis considered the age and education of the tourists. Most of them had a university education, and ranged in age from 15 to 34. For these tourists, the impacts of tourism would be negative for the park, but positive for the community. The conclusions include the hypothesis that the physical and psychological carrying capacity, as well as respect for the local community and an understanding of the needs of the visitors and hosts are fundamental for the sustainability of ecotourism in PETAR and an increase in direct benefits for the community of the Bairro da Serra
