其他摘要：The existence of different focuses in tourism practices and of different travelers' interests offers opportunities for using cultural archaeological heritage for touristic purposes. However, it is known that when tourism activities are disorderly carried out, there can be a negative impact on the environment, and particularly with regard to archaeological remains, such damage can be irreversible. On the other hand, tourism planning makes it possible to identify, conserve and enhance the value of nature. The intrinsic fragility of archaeological cultural heritage as well as the small quantity of studies on the relationship between archaeology and tourism justifies the present research efforts. A brief analysis of Archaeological Tourism is presented, identifying how the activity can be used as a tool to protect archaeological cultural heritage, based on the study of the theoretical framework and of the case of a region where there is little structure for Archaeological Tourism despite its high potential. The conceptualization chosen was that of an exploratory study with a qualitative approach, using the case study method and interpreting data via content analysis. The case study on Carste Environmental Protection Area in Lagoa Santa provided for observing the scenario, potential, possibilities and limitations for this kind of tourism in the region.
