  • 摘要:Yuanbaokeng Tomb I in Bozhou, Anhui Province is one of the early tombs of the CAO Cao clan. According to the records on the bricks excavated from the tomb, the person buried in the tomb should be Mr. CAO from Kuaiji Prefecture, who was in the CAO Cao clan. He should also be related to the Hejian Kingdom, related to Chief CAO Ding of Wu Prefecture (grandfather of General CAO Xiu), and also related to Japan. From these clues, I inferred that this person should be another CAO Ding, who is the younger brother of CAO Teng and the prime minister of Hejian Kingdom, recorded in “History of the Later Han Dynasty: Biographies of the Parties”. “Hejian Mingfu” on the 15th brick, “Kuaiji CAO jun”, “Fujun”, and “Mingfu” on the other bricks should be referred to the same person, Prime Minister CAO Ding of Hejian. He might be the biological father of CAO Song, and biological grandfather of Emperor CAO Cao
