摘要:Ibn Nubātah’s handwriting was considered to be exceptional. Nearly all of his biographers comment on it. Al-Ṣafadī, who cultivated his own, easily recognizable style of writing, praised the hand of his master and colleague. “As far as his handwriting is concerned, it is more precious than pearls,” he writes. 1 Ibn Taghrībirdī praises the “extreme beauty of his handwriting.” 2 More effusive is the statement of Tāj al-Dīn al-Subkī, who says: 3
