摘要：Housing is not just about providing shelter but also about providing public infrastructure , public facilities, social services, and environmental services for the benefit of the local community. Each of these housing components requires preparation and distribution planning so as to best meet the need of the local community. This should be in tandem with the changing environment in the course of local social-physical development such as that brought about by ecotourism. This study takes a look at the wa y housing influences the well being of local residents in Fraser's Hill as a renowned eco-tourism destination in the state of Pahang. It was found that house size, house architecture, housing la yout, road layout, number of street light, conveniently located worship and waste dumping facilities, and facilities for senior residents were critical housing elements that determined the wellbeing of residents at Fraser's Hill
