摘要：This article examines the main themes, constructed identities and their presentation in the film Dondurmam Gaymak, an example of Turkish Neo Realism. The main themes identified in this movie include: Aegean Region: The Cradle of Ancient World Culture, Local Extinction After Globalism, Neo- Realism and Native Actors and Actresses, and Suicide: Disaster of The Social and Individual. These themes are analyzed in terms of neo realism and discussed within the framework of the director's ideas. This article argues that the film is an important instrumental product for describing the Aegean Culture
