摘要:The breed of the dairy cow is a very important factor controlling the total solids of milk. The differences of total solids between six breeds have been observed in the present work. Total solids of milk were obtained by the method of drying milk (Ultra-X balance) and Fleischmann mathematic method, calculation from density and Gerber-fat. It was found that the total solids formula gave results slightly higher, than obtained by drying method.
