摘要：Os problemas provocados pela seca de 1877 nas províncias do Nordeste do Brasil exigiam uma interven..o mais objetiva do governo Imperial. 其他摘要：The problems caused by the drought of 1877 in the provinces of northeastern Brazil demanded a more objective speech Imperial government. For intervention objective is not only meant to send some aid, mainly food and medicine to areas hit by the shortage of rain, but that part of the population were sent to other regions of the country, especially the Amazon. The intention of the Brazilian authorities was, the less time that promote the rescue of these people, to create conditions so that no more dependent on aid from the government.
