其他摘要：The Portuguese Administration in their colonial empire during their life-time can be researched and studied in the records of the archive groups called Conselho Ultramarino and Secretaria de Marina e Ultramar, just the main agencies for the possessions in America, Africa and Asia. Both archive groups are nowadays in the Arquivo Histórico Ultramarino, in Lisbon. A historical research and archival description project called Projeto Resgate de Documenta..o Histórica Bar.o do Rio Branco, of the Brazilian Secretary of Culture, has worked in this institution by the last fourteen years in identifying and describing the records related to Brazil, making possible the complete access to important informations for historical researchers, in general and to the brazilian ones, in particular
