摘要：Peter Berger apresenta um diagnóstico da situa..o das religi.es na sociedade ocidental moderna, defendendo a tese de que os processos infraestruturaisconcretos desta sociedade trouxeram como reflexo a "seculariza..o". Esta, por sua vez, n.o impediu, como muitos argumentam, o impulso religioso que motivou os homens aaderirem à religi.o deforma intensa, dando base parao que ele caracteriza como "desseculariza..o"; sendo o mundo de hoje, portanto, e com algumas exce..es, t.o impetuosamente religioso quanto antes. O que implica dizer que embora n.o seja possível determinar com precis.o como será o futuro dos diversos movimentos religiosos, Berger sustenta que n.o há raz.o para pensar que o mundo do século XXI será menos religioso do que o mundo anterior. 其他摘要：Peter Berger presents a diagnosis of the situation of the religions in modern occidental society, defending the thesis that the concrete infra-structural processes in this society, brought up "secularization" as a reflection. This, in turn, has not prevented, as many argue, the religious impulsethat motivated mento join religions in an intense way, basing what he characterizes as "desecularization", making the world, today, therefore, with few exceptions, so impetuously religious as before. That means to say that, although it is not possible to determine precisely how the future of the various religious movements will be, Berger claims that there is no reason to believe that the 21st century world will be less religious than the world has been before. This new dynamic has led religions to operate with the logic ofthe market, what has required the need to adapt their rites and beliefs, in order to cater for the demand of individual consciences
