摘要：The article deals with a conception of culture and rev-olution, considering specific interpretation of the cul-ture's role in the Russian revolution of the 20thcentu-ry. The author substantiates the leading role of Dmitry Merezhkovsky in formation of the conception of the Russian culture's future, interpretation of the Russian revolution phenomenon, and its influence on the his-toric and cultural destiny of Russia
