摘要：The paper presents research results involving marriedcouples in the process of resolving differences be-tween them. The authorsinvestigated the frequency of activation of negative and positive attitudes in the negotiations carried out in pairs on their own, without involvement of the mediator. It isrevealed,that the incidence ofthenegativeattitudes positively corre-lateswithdissatisfaction of the parties with theout-come of the negotiations. At the same time, the couple express considerable interest in the involvement of thethird party able to assist in resolving the dispute
