摘要：The article discusses application of the constructivist approach to the study of xenophobia, which opens methodological resources of the socio-philosophic dimension of its social essence research. Basing upon the constructivist methodology the author interprets the xenophobia as a way of modeling the social reality on the basis of the antagonistic opposition "us –them", allowing efficient mobilization of the social groups and legitimation of the political and economic inequality in the society.
