摘要:Welcome to part II of our journal themed Morbid Curiosity. In this issue we continue our macabre journey through space and time. Articles and contributions analyze morbid artifacts and discuss death, dying, and the way we remember and commemorate those who have passed. One of this issue's contributors is scholar and tattoo artist, Gemma Angel. About three-and-a-half years ago, Gemma was awarded an Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) Collab-orative Doctoral Award to study the Wellcome tattooed human skin collection with University College London (UCL) and the London Science Museum. Whilst editing Gemma's fascinating and beauti-fully written contribution, I couldn't help myself and had to dive into the history and culture of tattooing.
