摘要:Within the present context of the profound reforms in higher education, publications like the one under review here deserve our full attention. The book includes the main research results of an innovative model of university education introduced at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana de México during the last quarter of the previous century. Specifically, from a qualitative perspective, the book studies the model’s approach to teaching practice and reflects on alternative models to assess the quality of university teaching. This review pays specific attention to the project’s theoretical and methodological assumptions, and in doing so uses the opportunity to bring into focus some central questions of the present debate on teaching quality assessment
