摘要:The purpose of this paper is to inform about the process and results of a qualitative research that aimed at promoting different forms of self evaluation and reflection of college instructors of a Mexican Public University. The objective was that instructors learn how to find evidences on achievements and difficulties they face in their teaching practice. Participants in this study were nine college instructors. Researchers designed a teaching portfolio and conducted a seminar. Instructors built their own portfolio which included activities that promoted analysis and evaluations of their teaching practice. At the end of the seminar each instructor presented their own portfolio and conclusions. Research was inspired on the following two paradigms: comprehensive evaluation and the reflective practitioner.
