摘要:Lawrence Klein and Richard Kosobud's article 'Some econometrics of growth: great ratios in eco-nomics', published in the Quarterly Journal of Economics in 1961, is a seminal reference in the liter-ature of common trends and balanced growth in macroeconomics. The data that they used in theirempirical work is tabulated in the article, thus pro.ering the opportunity of their re-analysis usingcurrent techniques of time series econometrics that were unavailable to Klein and Kosobud at the time. This is the primary purpose of this paper, but a subsidiary aim is to encourage and challenge tyroresearchers to replicate our results and to extend the analysis in ways that may illuminate further therelationships existing between U.S. macroeconomic aggregates throughout the 20th century
