摘要：Early stadium of natural regeneration of beech with respect to forest weed species was investigated in the rests of beech or beech with spruce forest stands in the summit part of the Jizerské hory Mts. (Czech Republic). The survival, growth and deer browsing of beech seedlings in Calamagrostis villosa, Vaccinium myrtillus, Avenella flexuosa and on litter were compared. There were found differences in survival and growth of seedlings in variants of plant cover but in most cases not statistically significant. Intensity of deer browsing had no relation of forest species.
