摘要:This paper uses an autoethnographical approach to explore the interplay between reflection and practice in a professional doctorate. It is based on the personal reflections of a middle manager in Further Education (FE) currently undertaking a Professional Doctorate and conducting a research programme based on a series of projects in adult education. It begins by reflecting on her early career before moving on to her doctoral journey to date. Two particular instances are identified and discussed where the professional doctorate has impacted on work-based practice. It concludes by reflecting on the overall impact of the Professional doctorate and how the influences may be maintained post Professional Doctorate
