摘要：Development of international economic relations indicates that there are tendencies towards the integration of national economies in global composition of reproduction. Investments have been proved as the most important carriers of modern economic relations. In the world, investment funds, as a collective investment institution, have been proved as the most efficient way of collecting free finances in order to further their investment on the financial market which enables the most efficient way of transfering towards entities who need it, and who know how to use it and develop. Basic conditions on the capital market and institutional prerequisites for the establishment of such financial institutions represent the main obstacles in Serbia for more active involvement of institutional funds in Serbia
