摘要：Modern methods of forest renewal using mechanized technologies with skidding lines, sorting platforms and timber transport roads surely influence changes of water regime in the forest environment. Based on forest-hydrological research in the Beskydy Mts. since 1953 provided this contribution presents only a small part of new experiences about affect of forest road networks. Forest transportation network in the Czech Republic is surveyed and influence of road network on hydrological elements of run-off in the researched catchments discussed. More attention is recommended to give to the forested and populated landscape regeneration aimed at effective protection against damage by floods in future.
