摘要：The paper gives iformation about variability of genetic resources, review of measures on gene resources conservation, breeding activities including provenance research of ash in the Czech Republic and abroad. It is focused on research of ash intraspecies variability, which has been not yet proved in genotype. The Czech provenance trial with common and narrow-leaved ash established in the spring 1999 is described more detailed, and the first preliminary results of height growth measurement of 35 provenances are presented.
