摘要：Presented research results represent European beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) experimental provenance plot no. 50 - Pelhřimov, Křemešník evaluation at the age of 36 years. This experimental plot was planted in conditions of Czech-Moravian Highland (CZ) in 1972/73. As for as the quantitative characteristics, both total heights and d.b.h. were measured, tree volume was taken from the yield tables, tree stock per 1 ha was accounted. In addition, some qualitative characteristics of trees (stem form, crown type, branching angle) were visually observed too. Obtained data were statistically assessed. Special attention was paid onto problems of geographic variability, local provenances and provenances from Slovakia (SK). Results are briefly commented and discussed.
