摘要：Growth and development of in vitro and generative plants of smooth-leaved elm were investigated on research plot "Polná" for eleven years under the same environmental conditions. Growth and development parameters of plantlets were compared and calculated by analysis of variance. The in vitro plants were higher than seedlings but no difference was recorded between plantlets and seedlings on 95% significance level. Increased mortality of seedlings, caused by rodents, was observed in some years. Retardation or increased mortality of in vitro plants was not observed.
