摘要:The diversity of communities of ground-beetles (Coleoptera: Carabidae) has been used for the asessment of the quality and the degree of damage to the natural environment for a long time. In the work presented here, the spectrum of species and individuals registered in four forest stands in the surroundings of Kostelec nad Černými lesy (Czech Republic, Central Bohemian Region) is analyzed. The study concerns two even-aged spruce monocultures (120-125 years), a small scale clearcut regenerated by oak (55 years) and a structured uneven-aged forest stand with the structure of the selective forest. Ground traps were placed in 5 replications in the forest parts and analyzed four times during the season 2009 (April - October). The results did not clearly confirm the relations between abundance and diversity and stand structure (mature even-aged vs. uneven-aged stand). On the contrary, some dependence on the dominate tree species (spruce vs. oak) can be supposed. The management pattern of the forest stands prevents the possibility of more detailed analyses in the studied area.
