摘要：The aim of the paper is to evaluate growth dynamics of both vegetative and generative propagated oaks and to assess an effect of pruning on the trees in young stand. The pruning was applied in order to improve quality of stem. The experiment documents good growth of oaks of vegetative propagation origin (cuttings), which are significantly higher, compared to control plants (of generative origin). The pruning of young trees has relatively little impact on proportion of trees with fine quality of stem in closed stand. Major impact of pruning was registered in trees of vegetative propagation origin.
