摘要:Four-year-old plants of Norway spruce with bare roots were exposed to open air conditions for 60 and 120 minutes. After exposition the plants were planted to open or shaded bed. Results proved substantial water losses from plant. Roots desiccated about two times faster than shoots. Exposition of plants markedly delayed budburst by about 10 to 20 days. High mortality occurred namely after planting to open bed (treatment “sun”). Exposition markedly reduced height and diameter growth in the 1st year after planting. Importance of careful protection of root systems against desiccation during the whole time of handling was confirmed.
