摘要:In the contribution, development of nitrogen compounds fallout and losses within the research plots of the Forestry and Game Management Research Institute are described, from the mid-1990s to 2007. In the Czech Republic, as well as in the whole Central Europe, the emissions of NOx and NH3 have been reduced since the late 1980s. That resulted in a decrease of the fallout of nitrogen compounds, particularly of NH4-, mainly in the regions that suffered from exceptionally high levels of air pollution in the past. In regions of low air pollution load such as southern Bohemia, the fallout of total nitrogen has increased moderately in recent years. In the north-eastern part of the country, however, the watersheds exposed to airflow were still of higher nitrogen fallout, and, in runoff water, also of higher NO3- concentrations (< 5 mg.l-1). After 2001, the decrease of the nitrogen fallout has remained questionable.
