Se presenta un estudio sobre las actividades educativas que realizan estudiantes universitarios a través del smartphone y la eventual relación de variables tecnológicas y académicas con el promedio de calificación. A partir de los resultados se logró clasificar las actividades, comprobar la posesión y frecuencia de uso. Además, se compararon grupos de estudiantes con base a variables de uso educativo y posesión de tecnología. Finalmente, se reflexiona sobre el potencial del smartphone como herramienta pedagógica.

We present a study on the educational activities conducted through the university students and the eventual smartphone variables relationship with technological and academic GPA. From the results it was possible to classify activities, checking the frequency of use and possession. In addition, student groups were compared based on variables for educational use and possession of technology. Finally, we reflect on the potential of the smartphone as a teaching tool.
