摘要：This is the first in a series of articles providing a commentary on drug and alcohol use in NSW. The series will provide an overview of the use of both licit and illicit drugs in NSW with special features on licit drugs (alcohol and tobacco) and illicit drugs (heroin and other drugs), with information sourced primarily from the 1998 National Drug Strategy Household Survey (NDSHS).
