摘要：Este estudo objetivou analisar o processo de inserção das Equipes de Saúde Bucal no Programa Saúde da Família em um município baiano com população inferior a vinte mil habitantes buscando conhecer as formas de inserção dos profissionais no Programa e como os gestores conduzem o processo. A população integrante da pesquisa foi composta por cirurgiões-dentistas e gestores de saúde do município. Foram realizadas entrevistas orientadas por um roteiro semi-estruturado. Os principais resultados encontrados foram: Predominância do sexo feminino; maioria dos entrevistados com especialização, verificando, a falta de relação entre o referido curso e a saúde coletiva; perfil voltado para atividade clínica e pouca preocupação com a resolubilidade dos casos. Os relatos demonstraram algumas limitações quanto ao saber sobre o processo de inclusão e funcionamento da Odontologia na Estratégia de Saúde da Família por parte dos gestores. Os resultados apontam que há necessidade de motivá-los a redirecionar as suas práticas, investindo em educação permanente, monitoramento e avaliação das ações desenvolvidas.
其他摘要：This study aimed to analyze the process of integration of Oral Health Teams in the Family Health Program in a city of Bahia with a population less than twenty thousand people, order to understand the knowledge and practices that guide the work process of these professionals and identify the available infrastructure. The target population of research was done by dentists and health managers of the city. Interviews were carried out guided by a semi-structured roadmap. The main results were: female predominance, the majority of respondents are experts, noting the lack of relationship between that course and public health; profile directed to clinical activity and low accuracy for the solving cases.
