摘要：Trata-se de um estudo descritivo e exploratório de abordagem qualitativa realizado com as enfermeiras das Unidades de Saúde da Família no município de Conceição do Jacuípe-BA no ano de 2008 que teve como objetivo compreender a representação social das enfermeiras sobre o processo de supervisão social em Enfermagem na estratégia saúde da família. Utilizou-se como técnica para coleta de dados a entrevista semi-estruturada e o grupo focal e para a análise dos dados, a análise de conteúdo de Bardin. O estudo sinalizou o enfoque dado ao planejamento estratégico situacional, ao trabalho em equipe e à utilização das técnicas e instrumentos de supervisão como estratégias para o desenvolvimento do processo de supervisão social na estratégia de saúde da família. Contudo, as enfermeiras revelam representações ancoradas na supervisão tradicional ao conceberem o planejamento dissociado da execução e ao revelarem a influência do modelo de atenção sanitarista campanhista na sua prática profissional. Conclui-se que as representações sociais das enfermeiras acerca do processo de supervisão social na equipe de saúde da família apontam a necessidade de superação da supervisão tradicional para um novo dimensionamento de visão das práticas em saúde através da supervisão social, tendo em vista à consolidação da estratégia saúde da família como proposta de mudança do modelo assistencial hegemônico.
其他摘要：This is a qualitative, descriptive and exploratory study which has been carried out with the nurses of the Family Health Unit. It aimed to understand the social representation of the nurses on the process of social supervision in Nursing in the health strategy of the family. An semi-structured interviewand a focal group have been used as the technique for data collection. As for the analysis of the data, Bardin’s analysis of content has been used. The study showed that the situacional strategical planning, the work in team and the use of the techniques and instruments of supervision are strategies to be considered for the development of the process of social supervision in the health strategy of the family. However, thenurses showed representations which are supported by the traditional supervision when they conceive the disassociated planning of the execution and when they are reveal that they are influenced by the model of sanitarist compaign care in their professional practice. It is concluded that the social representations of the nurses concerning the process of social supervision in the team of health of the family points out to the necessity of overcoming of the traditional supervision with respect to a new dimension of vision of the practices in health through the social supervision, in view of the health of the family as proposal to change the hegemonic assistencial model.
