摘要：This study deals with the place of Cicero’s Academics in the Middle Ages. It focuses on the case study of John Salisbury who is one the few medieval philosopher to claim to be an Academic (Academicus). We first examine the progress of the medieval reception of Academics and individuate John’s ciceronian corpus. We conclude from this analysis that he probably did not have a direct access to the Academics. But, relying on some other ciceronian works, he was able to build a new form of skepticism, both ciceronian and christian.
