摘要：The paper points out the basic elements of the hydropower licensing and environmental impact assessment in Serbian law. The review on environmental impact assessment is a base for issuing of energy permits and energy licenses. The paper analyses the legal nature of the energy permit for hydropower object, the legal nature of the energy license for hydropower object and actual problems of the licensing procedure in Serbian case law. The paper points out the possible solutions that could improve the process of obtaining permits and facilitate the implementation of standards stipulated in Directive 2009/2/EC on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources and Decision of the Ministerial Council of the Energy Community on the implementation of Directive 2009/2/EC.
