摘要：There are nine major tribes in the mountains of the northern part ofLuzon Island, Philippines. These tribes, collectively known as Igorots,are primarily animists. They have continued the practice of animism fromone generation to another. In fact animism plays a significant role inbonding and consolidation among these tribes.
