摘要:Job satisfaction has been extensively studied in the workplace.1Satisfaction has been related to a variety of job characteristics and to thedispositional and personality characteristics of the employee. Jobcharacteristics can be analysed according to the various tasks and skillsthat jobs require and a profile of different kinds of employment can beconstructed. Yet, even when this is done and a job is broken down into itsfacets and tasks, there is a still a tendency for jobs to be better subsumedunder global descriptors becauseDifferent facet-specific satisfactions tend to be positivelyintercorrelated, and satisfaction with one (the nature of the workundertaken) is particularly closely associated with other facet-specificsatisfactions and with overall job satisfaction
