摘要：The event to a financial and economic crisis of such a great magnitude, seems to ha ve surprised many countries, although there were some sig nals from economists since 2006. Its effects were felt throughout the worldwide , small countries with open economies, are directly affected, but in different proportions. Romania, a country with economy connected to international economic flows was deeply affected by unfavorable economic situation, fact who results from the analysis of important indicators presented in the paperwork, comparative of the level in EU. In our approach we analyzed the statistical data from Romania and EU countries for the period 2008-2010 in comparison with the year 2007 in order to highlight the effects of the economic crisis (for a complete view, we presented data covering a broader period), but we also pursued the impact of the fiscal measures on the evolution of the Romanian economy
