摘要:As the old saying goes, “attitude is everything.” Well, attitude is almost everything. Law librarians need both attitude and aptitude to be successful. We work on our aptitude every day—we are constantly learning new databases, refining our print research abilities, and honing our teaching skills. Each day that law librarians work is a day in which we are trying to be better at our jobs—but what about our attitudes? This isn’t to say that we, as a whole, are not a pleasant, friendly, helpful bunch; after all, we entered into a service profession. But sometimes we forget that our attitudes have an effect on our overall success as librarians. This is never more true than when we are trying to implement new services.
