摘要：This article focuses on phonetic and phonotactic changes in the Finnish first names. The most Finnish first names were a Fennicized form of the Christian or Swedish first names. The part of these Fennicized first names were used in informal situations. These became formal during the 19thcentury when the Finnish forms were added to the Finnish almanac. My aim is to present how the Fennicized forms evolved from the basic first names and what kind of phonetic and phonotactic changes happened
