This article analyzes the trajectory of Argentinean intellectual Federico Pinedo, focusing on his political vision over three main points: mass society, political leadership and state. From them, is studied the author’s transit from his formation in the Socialist Party to liberal-conservative positions, focusing on the implications of the emergence of Peronism in Argentina’s political life as a moment thar formalized this ideological shift. The mentioned axes allow us to expose the political conception of the author about what he understand as the results of Peronism as demagogical phenomenon that he tries to combat.
