摘要：The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between skill formation activities and job characteristics in information technology and network-related software engineers. The two-way analysis of variance was performed on survey data obtained from 197 IT network engineers. The results showed that skill formation activity was higher in individuals with higher need for skill growth. A trend was also seen for higher skill formation activity in jobs with higher job interdependence. At the same time, job characteristics such as role clarity and autonomy did not affect skill formation activity
