摘要：Affective Cartography is currently being explored by cartographers. Different artistic outcomes are demonstrat-ing how contemporary, new media art and design projects can be used for investigating the relationship between people and space in order to discover new realities, perceptions and emotions that possibly could remain un-known under the objectivity of the conventional map representations. However, this paradigm is not exclusive of this discipline. This paper reveals the starting point for exploring, from a conceptual and technical point of view, how the concept of affective cartography could be linked to the iconography represented in early maps, with a high component of subjectivity itself
