Se analizan en el presente estudio las pedrizas de Serrella (Alicante), conocidas en la zona con los topónimos de pedrisses, cantals o runars. Se trata de derrubios de ladera muy frecuentes en el área tanto por los condicionamientos tectónico-litológicos, como por los determinantes climáticos que, aún alejados de las condiciones óptimas pleistocenas, mantienen la funcionalidad actual de estas formas. El cálculo de índices de aplanamiento (Cailleux) y el análisis de orientación (Poser) nos han permitido comprobar la importancia de la rotura mecánica y confirmar la acción prioritaria de la gravedad como agente de transporte.

The present study analyses the slope debris of Serrella (Alicante), known in the place as pedrisses, cantals or runars. These screes are very common in the area, this is due to tectonic and lithologic conditions, and even more important are the climatic conditions, even though these are now far from the optimum they reached in the Pleistocene. After the calculation of shape indices, such as the Flatness Index (Cailleux) and the analysis of the orientacion of the stones (Poser) the results have proved the importance of mechanical weathering and have confirmad the priority of gravity as an agent of transport.
