摘要：El presente trabajo quiere exponer un estado de la cuestión sobre la formación y ca-racterísticas de las cavidades endokársticas del Macizo Occidental de los Picos de Europa. Se estudia de manera especial la morfología y organización interna de las grandes simas, algunas con más de 1.000 m de desarrollo vertical, su relación con la evolución general del macizo, el tipo de relleno sedimentario que contienen, las particularidades del drenaje y las principales surgencias que alimentan
其他摘要：An overview about the characteristics of the endokarstic cavities in the Western Massif of the Picos de Europa is presented. Four objectives are stressed. First, the analysis of the internal organization and landforms of the shafts, some of them exceed 1,000 m depth. Second, we relate the endokarst and the geomorphological evolution of the massif. Third, we study different types of speleothems and other sedimentary deposits. For last, we also research the peculiarities of the drainage and the main springs that originate
