摘要:Microorganisms play a significant role in adsorption of heavy metal from contaminated waste water. This work was carried for isolate and identifies the heavy metals adsorbed microbes from the effluent water and use the strains for remove the heavy metals. Bacterial isolates were picked up from the estuarine water sample and purified and identified based on the morphological, cultural and biochemical characteristics. Each isolate was determined by plate dilution method. In this method Cd2+, Fe2+, Pd2+, Ni2+and Zn2+ were used in varying concentrations (10 to 1000 g mL1). Pseudomonas sp., E. coli, Lactobacillus sp., Staphylococcus sp., Proteus sp., Vibrio sp. and Klebsiella sp. were showed MIC to heavy metals. From this isolated strains Pseudomonas sp. showed most resistant. One ml samples were collected each 24 hrs interval for analyze the pH, growth of culture and accumulated heavy metals analyzed by ICP OES. During this experiment 41% of Cd, 62.8% of Fe, 87.9% of Pd, 53% of Ni and 49.8% of Zn was absorbed by the isolated Pseudomonas sp. From this experiment isolated bacteria Pseudomonas sp. showed efficiency and absorbed more than 55% heavy metals from estuarine water
