摘要：Engineering ed ucation is a met hodolo gy t hrough which the principles and knowledge for carrying out proficient actions of engineering. The Engineering education can enhance the productive capability of the human capital by creating assets in them in the form of knowledge. This education has to delivered with quality so that innovative ideas emerging from the Engineering graduates cou ld increase the economic growth of the coun try. But, the increase in the number of Engineering colleges in a small union territory like Pudhucherry can decrease the quality of engineering education. Eventhough, It is a boon for people of Pondicherry. This study throws light on the variou s recommendations that could increase the quality of Engineering education in the state of Pudhucherry which was evolved from the survey taken from four classes of people namely Illiterate parents, Literal parents, Teaching professionals and Engineering students
